When you place a Double Handicap bet, it splits a wager into two bets, each with the same odds, but at a different single handicap.
For example:
Real Madrid -1 and -1.5, 1.926
Barcelona +1 and +1.5, 2.0
A client who risks €100 on Real Madrid actually has two separate bets on Real Madrid: €50 on Real Madrid -1 at 1.926 and €50 on Real Madrid -1.5 at 1.926.
A client who bets €50 on Barcelona actually has two separate bets on Barcelona: €25 on Barcelona +1 at 2.0 and €25 on Barcelona +1.5 at 2.0.
If Real Madrid wins by 2 or more goals (e.g. 3-1) the client who bet on Real Madrid -1 and -1.5 wins both and is returned €96.3 + €96.3. The client who bet on Barcelona at +1.5 and +1 loses both bets, losing their full €50 stake.
If Real Madrid wins by exactly 1 goal (e.g. 2-1) the client who bet Real Madrid -1 and -1.5 has one bet Push and one bet Lose. They are returned half of their original stake: €50, and the other half is lost.
The client who bet on Barcelona +1 and +1.5 has one bet push and one bet win. The +1 bet pushes, so €25 is returned and the +1.5 bet wins returning €50 for a total of €75.
If Real Madrid does not win the game (e.g. 0-0) then the client who bet on Real Madrid -1 and -1.5 loses both bets, losing their full €100 stake.
The client who bet on Barcelona +1 and +1.5 wins both of their bets returning €50 + €50.
